Guanacaste

Guanacaste is the one with greater tourism development of the coastal provinces, largely due to its beautiful beaches and tropical dry climate, this development can be seen in the real estate explosion that has occurred in several areas and in the increase in the population of foreign citizens. Much of its territory is part of nature reserves or national parks, such as Wildlife Refuge Camaronal, Ostional, Iguanita, Junquillal, and National Parks Barra Honda, Santa Rosa and Las Baulas, which protects spawning turtle. In Guanacaste are some of the favorite beaches for surfing, and because it provides marine services, is scenario for recognized fishing contests. And thanks to its tourism development, the visitor has the possibility of carrying out all kinds of recreational activities. Limon

The province of Limon is located in the Costa Rican Caribbean. In his fourth trip to americas, Christopher Columbus landed on the Caribbean coast and was so impressed by its natural wonders that appointed Costa Rica (rich coast). Limon, also known as the pearl of the Caribbean, is an exotic province, characterized by its cultural diversity, by the kindness and hospitality of its people and its rich traditions. Puntarenas

The province of Puntarenas is bathed by the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. It is the largest province of Costa Rica, with humid tropical climate. It has numerous islands on its shores, some of which are inhabited, as Chira Island, the largest of all. Its main economic activities are tourism, fisheries and agriculture. In Puntarenas you can find beaches of the most diverse characteristics, and many of them are relatively close to the capital.
