Playa Tamarindo
Beach with yellowish and white sand and blue water, with waves ranging from moderate to strong. Its coastline of about 2.5 kilometers long is surrounded by lush vegetation. Tamarindo is one of the most visited beaches of Costa Rica, with a strong tourism development. Hotels for everyone, lodges, cabins, camping areas, provide every convenience for tourists who may need. It also has restaurants, shops, supermarkets, casinos, nightclubs and bars. It is ideal for swimming, practicing fishing, kayaking, diving, horseback riding, surfing and other water sports. Very near the village there is a small airport for small planes. This beach is part of Tamarindo Wildlife Refuge, which is complemented by the Las Baulas National Park to protect the nesting sea turtles, in addition to their areas of mangrove and variety of birds. Two separate streams of imposing its neighbouring beaches, Grande and Langosta. The access roads are in good condition.
