Nancite Beach
Location
Located in Guanacaste, Santa Rosa National Park, 18 km from the administrative centre of the GCA.
Description
Beach with light-coloured sand and blue sea. It is part of the Guanacaste Conservation Area. With restricted access to its visitation, allowing entry only for investigative purposes, because is totally protected for the spawning of the leatherback, green sea turle and Kemp's Ridley, which can arrive in amounts up to 5 thousand per night in the season from August to December. It houses the Biological Station Nancite, which has very rustic facilities for accommodation and kitchen for researchers and students.
