Located in Guanacaste, Nicoya, 46 kilometers west of this town.

Description

Light brown sand beach and crystalline water, with moderate swell. Abundant vegetation in its coastline and a rich variety of wildlife. The population of the area remains primarily based on fishing. It has a beautiful reef and because of this was declared a protected zone. It is ideal for swimmers and fishermen, as well as for tourists seeking to move away from crowded beaches. The Rio Garza leads at the south of this beach forming a typical area of mangrove and estuary. It lies in a bay with rock formations in their extremes.
