Piedras Blancas National Park

Location

It is located to the west of Golfito Downtown, northwest of the interamerican highway, in the Piedras Blancas sector, and it borders to the south with Golfo Dulce.

Description

This extensive park is located in Golfo Dulce.

The mountains are covered with dense forests and to the south it has desert beaches. Closely together are facilities like mounting to marine horse, kayaking and other sports.

Three short circuits of footpaths near the center exist operative, that show ample biodiversity, broken and a rainy tropical forest of majestic characteristics.

The route by the river Corners is another ecoturística alternative.

This river is navigable about five kilometers and part of the Wharf of Golfito.

Very near the Piedras Blancas National Park is the town of Golfito, in which there is all type of services to make but the trip comfortable and placentero.
