The building constructed at the end of century XIX - and affected by the 1924 earthquake, that forced to carry out partial modifications, mainly the elimination of its second floor constitutes one of the few manifestations of the old civil architecture of the city of San Ramon. Its conservation means to maintain a testimony of the past of the city - that could lodge a future museum in that city and represents in the national scope a sample of the provincial architecture of end of century XIX. Declared Relic of Architectonic and Cultural Value, according to Executive Decree Nº 13411-C.
